When you enter into the Big Brother house on Day 1, the only chance of leaving is through eviction. That wasn't the case this time around.

With Shane and Jenn up on the block, the remaining five houseguests battle it out to win the coveted POV by completing a puzzle. It took less than 10 minutes to complete and for Shane to be named winner. That meant there were three options: persuade Shane not to use the veto on himself (aka "pull a Marcellas"), have Danielle as the replacement or throw up Dan. The "Dan mist" continues because he avoids the block once again.

But first! It's time for Shane to take Danielle on a luxury trip outside the house to "showmance" it up! It ends up being a show featuring Olympic gold medal gymnasts Gabby Douglas, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross, Jordyn Wieber and Aly Raisman (aka the Fierce Fab). Funny, Big Brother is down to its last five too. Highlights include a kiss, a headbutt and several Shane-isms. Interesting to note: Danielle admits her head is telling her to pick Dan, but her heart is leading her to Shane. Oh brother.
By a 2-0 vote, Jenn (aka Jenn City, as she's often referred to) is the latest to be evicted. Thankfully, the rocker chick from New York City isn't too salty about her ouster, telling Julie Chen that she did not regret saving Dan with the veto more than two weeks ago. "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em," Jenn said, before Chen gave her a PB&J sandwich. That's a good attitude to have, considering it was the former Big Brother coach that had a hand in her exit.
Any Big Brother fanatic knows that the final four HOH competition is merely a fight for immunity. The power, ultimately, lies with the winner of the all-important POV, who will cast the lone vote. The HOH competition was a quick seven-question back-and-forth centered on photos the houseguests saw on the memory wall. Dan and Danielle answered six correctly with Shane close behind with five. After the tie-breaker, however, it was Danielle who was named the new HOH, guaranteeing her a spot in the final three.

For now, it seems Dan stands the best shot out of Shane and Ian to advance to the final three, having solidified final three or final two deals with all remaining houseguests prior to this week. Even if POV goes to Shane or Ian, the plan -- as it stands now -- would see Shane evicting Ian and Ian evicting Shane. (Ian and Shane have no deals.)

The feeds have been off since Tuesday afternoon prior to the taped eviction and will return following Wednesday night's broadcast. Big Brother will air the second eviction of the week 9 p.m. Thursday on CBS.
Voting for America's Choice also opened Wednesday to determine who will receive the $25,000 prize on the Sept. 19 finale.
