Piers Morgan to Anchor CNN's Coverage of Queen's Jubilee

Piers Morgan, CNNs resident ex-pat, will anchor the networks coverage of Queen Elizabeths Diamond Jubilee, which marks her 60-year reign of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth. The coverage will across CNN/U.S. and CNN International.

The live simulcast coverage begins Sunday, June 3 at 11 a.m. ET on location at the Tower Bridge for the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant where hundreds of boats will sail up the River Thames. Tuesday, June 5 at 9 a.m. ET, CNN will broadcast the Royal Carriage Procession. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry of Wales will depart the Palace of Westminster for Buckingham Palace, travelling along a processional route by horse-drawn carriage. The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh and members of the Royal Family will appear on Buckingham Palaces balcony for the Royal Air Force fly over and a rifle fire salute from the Queens Royal Guard.

CNN also will have several Royals-themed programs in the run-up to next weeks Jubilee including Kate and Wills: First Anniversary, Saturday, May 26 at 2:30 p.m. ET, and The Diamond Queen, Saturday, June 2 at 2:30 p.m. ET.
