That is the thing I am most known for, no matter how big the movies get, Smith said of the NBC show, which aired for six seasons from 1990 to 1996.

He also revealed that his Fresh Prince costar Alfonso Ribeiro, who played Carlton, encouraged Smith to name his character after himself, because people would be calling him that for the rest of his life.

He was so right, Smith said. When we go out together, people are like Will! Will! Carlton!

Singing the Fresh Prince theme is just one of several big impressions Smith has made during the European leg of the Men in Black III promotional tour. Video of him slapping a journalist who tried to kiss him at the films Moscow premiere has gone viral, and his appearance on French television reacting to a proposed75% tax rate was picked up by Fox News' The OReilly Factor.
