Spike TV is bringing Joe Schmo back to the airwaves, VH1 has picked up a third season of La La's Full Court Life and GSN has revealed the contestants on its upcoming game show The Pyramid while ABC Family is revisiting Beverly Hills Nannies.

Here's what's happening in cable news Tuesday:

VH1has ordered a third season of La La's Full Court Life featuring actress La La Anthony as she launches a clothing line and travels to London to watch her husband, NBA star Carmelo Anthony, go for the gold on the USA men's Olympic basketball team. (Spoiler alert: They win!)

Season 2 averaged 1.6 million viewers with the third season set to launch early next year. The renewal comes a day the network pulled the plug on unscripted entry Ev and Ocho, featuring now former NFL All-Pro Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson and his wife, Evelyn Lozada. VH1 dropped the series just weeks before its September bow after Johnson was arrested on domestic abuse charges.

Spike TVis reviving faux reality series Joe Schmo, setting a first-quarter 2013 premiere for Joe Schmo: The Full Bounty. The male-leaning cable network has ordered 10 episodes of the series, featuring Lorenzo Lamas among a cast of "reality show clichs."

The original series debuted in September 2003 and was billed as one of TV's first faux reality series. Its series finale collected 3.4 million viewers, making it one of Spike's highest-rated series. The identity of Joe will be revealed in the coming months.

GSNhas announced its lineup of celebrity contestants on its upcoming game show, The Pyramid. Hosted by Mike Richards (Beauty and the Geek), contestants include Community's Yvette Nicole Brown and Danny Pudi, The Office's Kate Flannery and Oscar Nunez, Parks and Recreation's Jim O'Heir, Glee's Dot Mrie Jones, CSI's Wallace Langham, Scandal's Joshua Malina, New Girl's Lamorne Morris, Babby Daddy's Melissa Peterman, Rules of Engagement's Megyn Price, Malibu Country's Jai Rodriguez, The Sopranos' Aida Turturro and Blue Bloods' Nick Tuturro as well as Grey's Anatomy's Chandra Wilson.

The series, which airs daily, will premiere Monday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m.

ABC Family has picked up a 10th episode of docuseries Beverly Hills Nannies and set a reunion special for Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 10 p.m.

The Nannies Tell All special will be hosted by Ross Matthews and air after the summer finale of the series.
