Mad Men star John Slattery is dropping by Arrested Development.

The actor will appear in several episodes of the fourth season of the cult hit, a source close to production confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. Details, like who Slattery will be playing and the exact number of episodes he is set to appear in, are scarce, as TVLine first reported.

Arrested Development narrator and executive producer Ron Howard recently told MTV News that there would be new characters introduced in the 10-episode Netflix iteration of the series, which is set to debut in 2013.

"[Creator] Mitch [Hurwitz] isn't trying to recreate something," said Howard. "It's been away for a while, and part of the fun that Mitch has been mining and exploiting is, what's new to discover about these people? What's delightfully unchanged? He and the writing staff and the actors have a fantastic sense of that."

Arrested Development originally aired on Fox from 2003-06.
