TV Ratings: London Games Head Into Week 2 With 32 Million Viewers

Usain Bolt's latest 100M victory and McKayla Maroney's shocking fall during the vault final were among the bigger draws on Sunday's Olympic coverage on NBC. Nine days into competition, the London Games remain stronger than Beijing -- up 14 percent from the same night four years ago -- though they have fallen slightly from the bigger hauls of the first four days.

Fast affiliate ratings gives the broadcast a 10.5 rating among adults 18-49 for the night and 32.1 million viewers. The 7 p.m. special Michael Phelps: America's Golden Champion earned a 5.9 demo rating and 20 million viewers.

Against the formidable competition, Fox repeats landed pulled a 1.2 score among adults 18-49 and 2.7 million viewers.

On CBS, Big Brother rose from last Sunday's outing, posting a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49. Otherwise anchored by encores, the network averaged a 1.1 adults rating for the night and 4.6 million viewers.

Univision earned a 0.9 adults rating for the night.

Secret Millionaire and Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition were both original broadcasts on ABC, though both lost roughly half of their audience and demo against the Olympics. Millionaire posted a 0.8 adults rating, while Makeover earned a 0.7 in the demo. Altogether, ABC earned a 0.8 rating among 18-49-ers and 3.2 million viewers.
