Fox won the night among adults 18-49 on Wednesday, despite a 10 percent drop for So You Think You Can Dance. The series, working its new live format of performances and eliminations on the same night, posted a 1.8 rating among adults 18-49 and 5 million viewers.
Univision scored the night's second highest showing in the demo with a 1.5 adults rating, followed by CBS with a 1.4 rating. The Eye had the Wednesday debut of Big Brother, which won the 8 p.m. hour with a 1.9 rating the demo -- still falling 30 percent from last summer's Wednesday premiere. Big Brother, combined with encores, gave the network a dominant showing among viewers, 5.4 million.
America's Got Talent and encores of Betty White's Off Their Rockers, Up All Night and Law & Order: SVU gave NBC a 1.3 adults rating and 5.2 million viewers for the night. Talent, down just a tenth of a point for a 1.9 rating among adults 18-49, topped the 9 p.m. hour -- despite hitting a season low.
ABC's comedy encores were followed by a slightly boosted Final Witness. The news series was up a tenth of a point for a 1.2 adults rating, winning the hour, and giving the network an average 1.2 rating with adults 18-49 for the hour and 3.9 million viewers.
America's Next Top Model encores brought in a 0.3 adults rating and 900,000 viewers for the CW.
