Pretty Little Liars boss Marlene King is looking to add another project to her resume for ABC Family.
King is in early stages of developing a television project based on her 1995 feature Now and Then, which starred Christina Ricci, Demi Moore, Rosie O'Donnell, Melanie Griffith and Rita Wilson, The Hollywood Reporter confirms.
The film, which was directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and penned by King, centered on four friends during the summer of 1970. Released in October 1995, Now and Then grossed nearly $38 million in worldwide box office.
King runs ABC Family's buzzy teen soap Pretty Little Liars, currently in the middle of season three. The hourlong has a similar conceit to Now and Then in that it centers on four friends played by Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell.
