When Saturday Night Live lined up New York Giants player Eli Manning to host the NBC sketch show this weekend, there may have been some doubts about his acting chops.

Well, NBC released a new promo featuring its upcoming host and it doesnt exactly put those worries to bed. Bright side? Clearly, it shows hes up for anything and hes going to try really, really hard.
The new promo features cast members Jason Sudeikis and Kenan Thompson putting Manning through his paces. Theres a spoof on The Voice, an attempt at tackling the NFL player, some quizzing and a fairly good example of Mannings throwing arm in case making it to the Super Bowl wasnt enough proof for you.

Manning hosts SNL with musical guest Rihanna Saturday at 11:30 p.m. on NBC.
